STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
All references to the “Company” in these terms and conditions shall mean Pearlafric Tours & Travel Ltd, a limited liability company providing destination management services in Eastern (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zanzibar and Uganda). All references to “the Organizer” shall mean the person, Firm or company contracting with the Company for Services (hereinafter defined) to be provided to Clients (hereinafter defined). All references to “Client” shall mean the person, firm or company to be provided with Services by the Company and which are contracted for with the Company by the Organizer and shall Include any person in any party accompanied or paid for by such person, firm or company and the Personal representative of all such persons.
- Reservations and Payments:
When booking your holiday direct with Pearlafric tours and travel, please quote the tour number of your own specialized itinerary, intended date for arrival and departure, number of people travelling in your party, This will ensure that our arrangements are to your satisfaction and concise. party, This will ensure that our arrangements are to your satisfaction and concise. When viewing Animals, please be advised that there are no guarantees. It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat, but keep a safe distance while taking the photographs. Gorilla trekking generally requires a minimum of 3 month advance booking for permits. Children under 12 years are not allowed to track chimpanzees and children under 15 years are not allowed to trek the gorillas. Getting a gorilla permit is not a guarantee of seeing a gorilla. Local conditions sometimes inhibit access to the gorillas at short notice. We are unable to accept liability for any circumstance that might lead to gorilla viewing being cancelled, whether it is closure of the National Park or borders; absence of the gorillas; security changes. Refunds are at the discretion of the relevant authority and we cannot accept liability for them. A gorilla permit guarantees you will trek gorillas after payment but does not guarantee that the gorillas will be in plain sight. Note: that the chances of seeing the gorillas stand at 98%.
- Payments:
A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required at the time of firm booking of a tour. The balance of the total quoted tour price is due 45 days before the commencement of the services. For Reservations made45 days to commencement of the services, full payment is due upon confirmation of the services. Payment is by swift telegraphic wire transfer into our bank account, details to be advised upon a firm booking. Where payment is by cash dollars, the bank notes should be in the series of 2000 above not below.
In some accommodation properties, non-refundable booking fee is required to hold the rooms either all year round or during the peak season when there is extra ordinary demand for accommodation. These will be advised upon a booking confirmation. No refunds are given for: lost travel time or substitution of facilities and/or accommodations; itineraries amended after departure, not appearing for any accommodation, tour, game viewing or other booked activities; and/or cutting short the booked itinerary for any reason.
3: Cancellation by Pearafric Travel Bureau
We may have to cancel the event or any part of it:
- For safety reasons if we or our supplier(s) in regard to adverse weather conditions or other safety Concerns as Unacceptable and which cannot reasonably be overcome.
- If we reasonably believe that you may cause harm or damage to our reputation or to the reputation of our suppliers Or to property belonging to our suppliers
- If supplier or suppliers is or are unable to host the event for any reason.
- If changes you wish to make to the booking mean it is uneconomical or impractical to hold the event.
- The event the client cannot travel either sick nor have some personal reason we may need a written explanation why she or he cannot travel.
