This 18 Day North-Eastern Uganda self-drive safari will indeed take you “off-the-beaten-tracks” of North-Eastern and North-Western Uganda. Along the eastern route, you will have the chance to engage in numerous outdoor activities from Rafting & Stand Up Paddling in the Nile to hiking Sipi Falls & Mount Moroto at the Kenyan border.
You will visit the least visited wildlife reserves such as Pian Upe, Kidepo Valley National Park and also take advantage of Uganda’s biggest National Park – Murchison Falls NP. Besides exploring nature’s wonders, you will deep dive into various cultural and community encounters – from spending a night with shepherds of the Karamojong tribe around the fire to visiting the biggest Manyatta Village in Africa to learning how to make shea nut butter and cooking local dishes. The last days will be full of city adventures and hustles, the best views over the city, taking a boda-boda ride, or relaxing on Lake Victoria.
