Transfer to Jinja, Nile Boat Cruise

Day 1

Meet and greet with our company representative who will  transfer you to Jinja.  You are expected to have your money changed before transferring upcountry.

Boat cruise

Reaching Jinja, we will take a 30 minutes boat cruise marveling to the Napoleon Gulf where the Nile River starts to travel Miles through Sudan – Egypt leading finally to the Mediterranean Sea. You may try out to sample some fish at your expense as well prepare for great photo exercise as this is the best place for birdwatching. 

Jinja Town

In Jinja Town we stop for lunch and a city walk in craft villages for souvenier shopping.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 2

After your early morning breakfast we drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park. You may stopover at the Rhino Sanctuary for an optional 1 hour Rhino trek (extra fee of $45 per person).  There are 15 Rhinos which were reintroduced after their extinction in the 1970’s through poaching. A local ranger guide will lead you on foot to an up-close encounter with the rhinos.

We continue to Masindi Town for lunch. We arrive late afternoon at your lodge.

Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls.

Day 3

Early morning breakfast then later for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. You will spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, if you are lucky the leopard and many more. After lunch we go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, stopping just a few meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron.

5 Hour Delta Cruise

Alternatively, in the afternoon you may choose to pay a supplement of $500 per group below 10 People to have a 5 Hour Delta Cruise to Lake Albert. Here you will mix with the high concentration of mammals as well you will get a chance of coming close to the endemic Albertine rift shoebill stork in the wilderness.

Chimps Trekking in Budongo Eco Forest – Afternoon Town City Drive

Day 4

After breakfast you leave with your packed lunch to Budongo Forest. Located at the boundaries of Murchison Falls National Park. Where we go for an 2 hour chimpanzee tracking. This exercise occurs at Kaniyo Pabidi in southern Murchison Falls National Park where the only habituated Chimp group in Budongo is available for the Chimp Trekking.

Kampala City Tour

In the early afternoon we drive to Kampala for a city center tour. We shall visit the famous Gadhafi Mosque, with an amazing view to the 7 original rolling hills. Return to adventure in Owino Market. Walk and explore the local marketing methods of the natives, its dramatic and interesting to be there!

Transfer to Entebbe for an overnight stay and dinner in a selected restaurant at your own expense.

Activities: Chimpanzee tracking and Kampala City Tour
