Meet and Greet at the Airport

Day 1

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day and time allowing you may go for city tour with the help of our driver/guide, visit the shopping Malls around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry

Transfer to Kitgum reaching late Afternoon with an optional stopover for Rhino Tracking

Day 2

After your early morning breakfast drive north to Kidepo Valley National Park, you may stopover at the Rhino Sanctuary for an optional opportunity to trek Rhinos at an extra fee of $45 per person.  There are 15 Rhinos which were reintroduced after their extinction in the 1970s through poaching.  A local ranger guide will lead you on foot to an up-close encounter with the rhinos and it may take about 1 and half hours. Proceed to Masindi Town for lunch at your expense and later continue to Murchison Falls National Park arriving at your lodge late afternoon.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley for an Afternoon Game Drive

Day 3

After an early breakfast, Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, Have a game drive and later transfer to the Lodge for a hot Lunch. Proceed with an afternoon game drive combing the open plains of Kidepo Valley.

The Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda’s most spectacular parks. It is 1,442 square kilometers and harbors scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa. ‘It could not be any better’ is a common comment on the scenery by visitors who often promise and do come back to Kidepo. Tucked into the corner of Uganda’s border with Sudan and Kenya, the park offers breathtaking Savannah landscapes, which end in rugged horizon.

Whole Day Hike to Mount Morungule

Day 4

After morning breakfast, Carry packed lunch and transfer to the starting point with your local guide, Enjoy your leisure hike to Mount Morungule which towers to 2,750 meters above sea level. It is crossed by River Kidepo and River Narus which nourish the wildlife plus the natural habitat of this park. The Morungole Range defines the southern boundary of this park and soars from these plains a couple of kilometers north-east of Apoka. This area may be visited on foot in the company of a ranger. The slopes of the mountain are habitat to the IK people, who are the tiniest ethnic group found in Uganda, and have their own special culture.Later slop down after a beautiful scenery view and enjoy your hot dinner at the lodge.

Whole Day Walking Safari in Kidepo

Day 5

Have an early breakfast and go for a nature walk to view a variety of fauna and flora species in the park. Return to your camp for lunch and a brief rest in the mid-afternoon. Take another exciting game drive across savannah, hills, small forests, dry river beds and rings of mountains around you.

Whole Day Karamojong Cultural Experience

Day 6

After breakfast, with your guide, carry packed lunch drive to experience Uganda’s Most Unique Culture with the Karamojong fierce tribe touch, explore their culture, view beautiful beads, comic but yet unique hair styles, you may sample their dishes as you hear their social stories about their way of living!

Morning Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 7

After Breakfast, Leisurely depart from Kidepo and enjoy your panoramic drive to Murchison falls national park having your lunch at the lodge. Have the whole afternoon relaxing at the Lodge.

Murchison fall national park is the largest of Uganda’s national parks covering a total area of 5,308 kms with a pleasant wildness area of rolling grasslands and wooded savannah, Murchison fall national park is one of the most spectaculars park in Africa. Renowned for its scenic beauty and off course its spectacular falls from which it gets its name Murchison falls national park has the abundant flora and fauna to delight the visitors.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise, Hike the Top of the Falls

Day 8

Arise very early in the morning for your game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile in your open-roof vehicle which will give you an excellent opportunity to view and photograph the diverse wildlife. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.

After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, you may continue to the top of the falls at an extra fee of $15 per person where you will have the amazing view of the falls! See where the Nile -world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft  in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening.

Alternatively, you may choose to pay a supplement of $500 per group below 10 PAX to join a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will mix with the high concentration of mammals  as well you will get a chance of coming close to the endemic Albertine rift Shoe bill stork in the wilderness

Have morning Optional Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo – Transfer to Kampala

Day 9

After your breakfast, lead to the starting point of Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Eco Rain Forest – This exercise occurs at Kaniyo Pabidi in southern Murchison Falls National Park where the only habituated Chimp group in Budongo is available for the Chimp Trekking. We will set off from visitor information center at Budongo Eco Lodge, here the Chimps can be So near that they can be heard and the trek to find them will take a few minutes unlike in Certain periods when food is no longer enough they travel away from this territory, wondering Deeper into the forest as they search for food and water, and thus tracking them will be longer And finding them becomes less certain. We will spend only 1hour with the Chimps in the Forest on finding them and our Photography will be in 1Hour. The Chimpanzee trek in Budongo forest is good add on to the game safari in Murchison Falls National Park because After the game safari in the warm northern savanna plains, coming down to the cool jungles of Budongo forest is such a refreshing experience! Transfer to Kampala for Outbound flight back home.
