    • Murchison Falls national Park

Murchison Falls National Park lies at the core of the Murchison falls conservation area, the 3840 km  was gazetted in 1952 and formerly called Kabalega falls after the former King of Bunyoro. Murchison falls National Park is the most thrilling park in East Africa, with big game inclusive of about 9000 buffalos, more than 200 lions, 900, elephants, buffalo, with a healthy population of hippos, Jackson Hartebeests, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, Defassa waterbuck, bohor reedbuck, oribi, leopards, spotted Hyenas with a checklist of over 460 birds  confirmed.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 1

After an early morning breakfast at 08:00 am, head north to Murchison Falls National park .Drive to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Have an Afternoon Game Drive through the park.

Dinner and Overnight at Sambiya River Lodge

Day 2

Early morning breakfast then later for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile where  you will spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron.

Dinner and overnight at Sambiya River Lodge

Transfer to Kampala

Day 3

This day you will have breakfast and start your journey to Budongo forest, Kaniyo Pabidi forest located at the boundaries of Murchison falls national park on your way back to Kampala for chimpanzee tracking, the activity takes 2 hours and afterwards embark on journey back to Kampala amidst the beautiful savannah grasslands and beautiful sceneries.
