Arrive at Entebbe International Airport

Day 1

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money changed on this day. When time allows you may go for a city tour with the help of our driver/guide.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 2

After breakfast we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop at the Equator for the water experiment. You will too stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. You may attain a certificate of reaching at the Equator at your own expense which will not be more than $3-$4. Later transfer with another stop in Mbarara for lunch in a selected restaurant. We will reach the park in the late afternoon with a game drive near the lodge.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Day 3

Have an early morning game drive where you have an opportunity to spot lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck. Be sure to have your camera ready for these amazing sightings!

Balloon Safari

Alternatively you may opt to go for a balloon safari (extra fee of $380) at the Kasenyi gate of Queen Elizabeth NP at 5:30 am. The flight gives you great photo opportunities that are different from an ordinary safari on the ground. After landing, celebrate the flight with a glass of sparkling wine. After the toast, passengers sit down to a delectable bush breakfast prepared by Mweya Safari Lodge. The bush breakfast makes for a memorable ending to your ballooning adventure in Queen Elizabeth NP.

Later in the afternoon we take a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and this launch/cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.

After the boat cruise we transfer to Ishasha home of the tree climbing lions. You will reach in time for dinner at the lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 4

After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive and comb the open plains for the Tree Lions and other wildlife. We return for lunch at the lodge and after that we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Gorilla Tracking Experience

Day 5

After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes.

Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.

Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain.

Gorilla Habituation Experience

Alternatively you may pay an extra charge of $900 per person for Gorilla Habituation. This needs prior arrangements and bookings. Gorilla Habituation grants you more hours with the gorillas as you learn more about their behaviour.

Transfer leisurely to Entebbe

Day 6

After breakfast  you will travel to Entebbe reaching early afternoon at your accommodation. Depending on the time of arrival you may decide to visit craft markets for souvenir shopping, or explore our food and textile markets at leisure. You can have dinner at your hotel or at a selected restaurant in town.

Morning Flight (Own Expense) to Kilimanjaro Airport through Nairobi Airport

Day 7

Enjoy your breakfast and transfer to the airport for a flight to Kilimanjaro Airport through Nairobi Airport. On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our company representative will have a meet and greet with you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha.

Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Day 8

After breakfast we depart to Serengeti National Park with picnic at lunch at the pre historic site of Olduvai George and the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park with great chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles.

Morning Visit the Olduvai Gorge, Transfer to Ngorongoro crater for Afternoon Game Drive

Day 9

After early morning breakfast, venture into the corners of wilderness Serengeti for a half day game drive in the park with picnic lunch. This leads you to the vast Serengeti plains where you might encounter the migration consisting of over 2 million animals. They also attract the attention of predators like cheetah and hyena and you may be able to see a band of lion’s gang up for a hunt.

Later we drive out of the park to Ngorongoro Crater where we visit a Masai village and its village school. Transfer to the lodge for dinner.

Crater Picnic Adventure

Day 10

After breakfast enjoy the views of the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands while on the game drive before arriving to the rim of the crater. We’ll descend into the crater which is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world, home to nearly 40,000 animal.

Here we’ll have a good chance of seeing the big five: lion, leopard, rare black rhino, buffalo and elephants. Along with the big five; we will also see herds of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle. After a picnic lunch we will continue our game drive and we transfer to Arusha reaching early evening.

City centre drive – Transfer to Zanzibar

Day 11

Transfer to Arusha International Airport for a flight arriving to Zanzibar Airport.
