Day by day itinerary
Drive to Murchison Falls NP
Meet and greet at your hotel / residence at 08.00 hours. An early morning start from Kampala begins the panoramic drive Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park. Proceed to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 7 meters canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, plume of spray “the Murchison Falls”. Enjoy the sunset as you drive back to Nile Safari Camp or Red Chill Rest Camp for dinner and overnight.
Game drive & launch trip Murchison Fall NP
Early morning game drive, the resident in this park are, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, the unusual shoebill stork and many more. After lunch prepare to proceed for a launch trip / boat trip the placid Victoria Nile up stream to the base of the falls, the boat stops just Ten meters from the “Devil cauldron” take pictures of the Majestic Murchison falls, its the photographers paradise and pleasure, enjoy your hike along the Nile up to the top of the falls, you will be picked up on the top. Return to Nile Safari Camp or Red Chilli Rest Camp for dinner and overnight.
Drive to Kibale NP
Early morning breakfasts depart from Murchison Falls NP, through the villages and towns of Kagadi and Hoima with lunch en route. Proceed to Kibale National Park, this mature hardwood forest harbours 11 species of primates and a vast variety of birds and butterflies. Dinner and over night at Ndali Lodge or Rwenzori View Guest House.
Chimpanzee Tracking
Early morning visit to Kibale forest for chimpanzee trekking. The forest also houses other primates like grey-cheeked mangabeys, baboons and velvet monkeys. After your lunch check out of Kibale Forest and proceed relax in the evening dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge or Rwenzori View Guest house
Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP
Early breakfast and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, have a game drive while you check in the park. Queen Elizabeth NP boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, - from the open savannah to rain forest, dense papyrus swamps and brooding crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus a remarkable 606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, to mention but a few. The Primates include Chimpanzees, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Red Tailed Monkeys and Olive Baboons. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Mweya Albertine Hostel
Queen Elizabeth NP
An early morning game drives today, Queen Elizabeth National Parks diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is the home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzori as a backdrop provides excellent opportunity to see lions, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, defassa water bucks, uganda kob, topi and bush buck. In the evening proceed for unique 2 hours boat trip on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the waters edge. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. For dinner and overnight return at Mweya Safari Lodge or Mweya Albertine Hostel
Return to Kampala
After breakfast check out of Queen Elizabeth NP, hit the road with a stopover in Mbarara for your lunch break and a arriving early evening in Kampala.
